when did you switch from infant motrin/tylenol to childrens?>
My dd is 30lbs and 18 months. she gets teh max dose for both infant drops of these meds. when can i switch to childrens?

I dont know specifically but at our last appointment our pediatrician gave us the dosage amounts for both Infant and Childrens Motrin/Tylenol.
It was his 6 months appointment and he was 22lbs.

I just asked my ped. about this since my DD is 2.5 and still in infants. he said I can stick to infants - the amount of meds they are getting are the same - just the concentration is different.

Ditto.
BTW, it's cheaper to buy the children's size instead of the infant's size. Just make sure to check with your doctor about the dosage.
